From Ivrea (Torino-Italy).

Project comes out in September 2000 with the intention to form a band with no schemes nor compromises, substantially hardcore.Moved by the idea of producing a sound which was a recreation of our feelings and moods, aggressive for sure, because so far from (and at variance with) the provincial mark we live in, that always and only tendered occasional and minimum spaces, of no value at all, to musical forms and expressions not strictly in line with canons of the traditional music and so-called pop; all these things approached us to marks so far from us geographically (first thought goes to Sweden and the USA) for lifestyles and musical scenes, so much that we would absorb the essence of their characteristic sound with the aim to bring it in a place that has never deeply known it yet.

Hardcore in our way of thinking doesn’t mean to play "fast & furious" at any cost, it's not only wearing large pants, you don't need a mohawk or to be a skin, nor covered of tatooes, you can have some money in your pocket too if you want, you don’t have to be necessarily punk. It's lifestyle but it’s also deeper than that, it’s unity, it’s positively believe in what we are and can do. Hardcore is a way of living deeply our experience on this earth, creating something on our own ‘till even destroy it if we like, excitement and nihilism. It’s something extreme.

It’s tangible the feeling of losing personal privileges and free will in these days of mass phenomena dominion, take a look at the punk that’s not more than a mere fashion here in Italy, so what counts the most is to maintain intact, unscratched, unbreakable our own identity, as a real option against the surrogate of life given by questionable morality and status of appearance.

Lyrics are in English in order to maintain the identity of that music and try to communicate to many people as possible, annulling the distances and letting know that even here something is moving in this direction. Lyrics are about significant moments of everyday life (they don’t pretend to be poetry): choices, defeats, victories, love and friendship; a thread of drama combines them, but a feeble hope that someday life will be better rises.

Voice draws severe melodies flowing in moments of anger, rhythmic session is powerful and with blasting new school guitar riffs we go searching an evolution of hardcore standards, towards experiences even rock and emo(tional), strongly.

BIGA (vocals) and RANDOM(bass) have been sharing the passion for hardcore-punk for ten years and memories remain (and tapes and videos) of Al.Co.Va, Cyanide, Psalm 69, active in the late ’90, bands “died” for someone’ s departure, so it needed to start from the beginning, new friends, new name, new songs, new born identity. But project ANGERCORE in spite of changes in the line-up (and name too, until February 2003 we’ ve been ANGER, then the change occurred due to the impossible coexistence with another band) goes on without delays, with the demo recording sessions, and always keeping alive the attitude for live shows of the band. ALE (guitar) takes the place of IGOR in January 2002 redefining a little sounds and ideas (more rock now), and letting a remarkable technical growth in about one year, then in March 2003 MACY (drums) takes place of FABIO (with whom we’ ve recorded the demos and shot a video), and this time the choice is due to the common will to grow again and be open to new chances, given by his several live experiences and continuous formation as drummer. All of us have already played with each other in the past, so it’s been easy to find the right feeling to work on older tracks and produce some new. Unfortunately his many live engagements have taken him far away from the band, which needs continuity and dedication instead, for this reason in by the end of August we’ ve started a collaboration with LEO and after a couple of rehearsals and two important live shows he has formerly become the official drummer of the band, recreating a more united and aggressive rhythmic session.

The debut has been at Hiroshima Mon Amour in Torino (opening act for Braindamage, historical Italian metal band) in April 2001, then we’ve played shows in Torino and nearby, and participated to the finals of some national contests (Fiera della Musica Azzano Decimo - PN - , Rockin’ Dalmine - BG -, Rourestock - TO -…). With the song “EXPERIENCED” selected by ROCK TV (satellite TV) for the I-TIM Tour 2003 in Alghero (SS-Sardinia) we have had the opportunity to play the finals in Milano in front of thousands of people (for both the shows, Alghero and Milano, have been shot live videos by the cameras of Rock TV broadcasted during the programme On The Road) and the same song will be published on the compilation “Tendenze 2003” (national distribution).For the song “STORIES” has been shot a live-video broadcasted on GRP (local TV). The song “CONCRETE” (we also have a self-produced video for this track) will be published on the compilation “Metal & Contaminazioni” in 2004 by SANA RECORDS, and it’s already on another national distributed compilation.

In March 2002 we’ ve recorded a demo of 11 songs and in February 2003 a second demo of 7 tracks, we’re planning to record a promo-CD in the next few months.
