January 2004, 11:00 am in the gutters of Enschede, Thomas and myself woke up. Fuck!!! Man I'm having a huge hangover from last night, okay first I'm going to fix myself a nice cup of coffee and an aspirin…...aah much better. Let's see what's on today's schedule, oh yeah we've got to find ourselves a total insane guitarist and a nice girly singer. But where can we find such idiots??! Well, I don't know how we did it but we found the most pathetic bunch of morons of the whole east-block. We found Jelle at a bar called "innocent", we just followed the stream of stench and ended up at Jelle's table. We asked if he would join our band and he answered: yes!

Okay now we only need to find a guitar loser. Jelle told us about Coi who had been in a band with him before so we told Jelle to call Coi. After a marvellous bike ride from Amsterdam to Hengelo Coi showed up, and I still remember the first thing he said to me. I introduced myself: Hi I'm Dimi………. He looked at me and said: well that's nice for you………………. Aaaaargh I was this close of punching the bastard, man I hated that guy! But when he opened his gigbag and took out his Fender Stratocaster all of my hatred turned into pure love. (well that sounds kinda lame) Anyway now we were a complete band, so we made some songs and after a few weeks of rehearsing we had our first gig. After that we got some more gigs and after every rehearsal created a new song, and after a few months of rehearsing and a few gigs we thought it was time to make a record.

Our demo, well that was quite a experience ( a negative one though) it went so bad I almost gave up all hope and after my bass string broke I was getting pretty desperate. I even tried to fix it but God didn't have mercy on my soul at that time (bleeegh) so this kid who recorded our demo gave me his bass, I looked at it and thought: fuck I'm not going to record the demo with this bass made of some matchwood and some rubber bands, unfortunately I had no choice……so that explains the fluffy bass sound on our demo. After a short break we tried again and this time it was a little better, not as good as I hoped to be but ah….whatever. We recorded all nine songs in a row because this kid's mom was getting hysterical from our music, well, I don't blame her.

I wasn't really satisfied with the demo and our sound and so were the other band members, so we thought of creating a whole new sound. But how do you create a new sound? We thought of bringing a second guitarist in the band would do the trick because of the heavy sound of two guitars and also a new and fresh influence on the four of us. But where can you find an idiot who's dumb enough to play with us. We knew this guitarist from another band who was pretty skilled, so we asked Jarrick if he wanted to join our band, he didn't hesitate and said yes immediately.

And that's how it is today, we're busy creating a whole new sound and new songs, we get our inspirations from bands like: Ekkaia, Kriegstanz ( brief: a fuller, harder and a little more complicated sound ) and of course every member gets his own personal inspirations for their way of playing. We also thought of not doing many gigs at this moment and focus more on the rehearsals, the new sound and the new songs and if we have enough new, fresh, hard songs we're going to play again at many different places and make an new record….
