Trespass - Breaking The Chains

posted by: David on 28 March 2005

Own release

With this release Trespass wants to break the chains that keep the band tied to the label ‘demo band’ and when I listen to this effort I think that can work out pretty good. Their metalcore has grown a lot since their previous demo “Veni, Vidi, Vici”, so that’s good start. The double vocals sound way better too and the recording quality is also great. Keep a mix of Stigmata and Born From Pain in mind and you’ll know what to expect of Trespass. But these guys also look beyond the borders of hardcore, because “Pointless” surprises me with a rap that is performed by a member of The Last Crewsaders. Sounds like a winning combination that offers a cool perspective for the future. Trespass has evolved in a promising way, so everybody that likes metalcore should order “Breaking The Chains” through www.trespasshardcore.com.
