The ice age has come to an end. Thank you all for your support over the years. It's been fun, but it's time for someone else to take over. Head over to SWNK for your daily dose of hardcore music. While you're there, check out the interview with the founders of Asice.net. - David

Rising Tide - Demo

posted by: David on 15 June 2005

Own release

This band from Limburg was previously called Above The Struggle but they decided to make a new start as Rising Tide. Of the songs they recorded at the Sonic Sound Studio (known for Drift, Copykill and Settle The Score) they released three tracks on this demo to get noticed by labels and to prepare the audience for what’s coming. What you’ll hear is a decent piece of hardcore with melodic guitar parts that sound real nice. Throw in a singer that sounds like Lou Koller of Sick Of It All and the conclusion is that this five piece will end up just fine. Just take a listen for yourself: “Hunting Grounds” and “Drift Away” are on their Myspace site.
