Most promo CD’s I get contain some sort of fact sheet with stuff about the band (bio, previous releases etc.) and the label. With this CD I got a factsheet as well... "A mix between ignite and Stretch Arm Strong...". Well that one sentence made me curious about this CD. And, as always when a band is compared to other well known bands, this band doesn't sound very much like either. It's melodic hardcore with some modern day punk elements added. At first it sounds pretty okay but somehow the vocals start to annoy me after 10 minutes. And when the singer really starts to sing it is time for to look for a Carry On record to remind myself how old school should sound. If you're into melodic stuff and you do not have a history of throwing up after hearing singing on an old school record you might want to check it out... this is not a good one for me, sorry guys.
