Cutdown - Always intact

We've been flooded with releases from Finland the last couple of years. It started out with Down My Throat, which have always been one of my favorite bands from Finland. That's mainly due to the fact that they do something different than most Finish bands and that the lyrics are a couple of level's up compared to the rest. Cutdown seems to be a band that can compete with DMT. Music wise it's not brand new or unique. But the mosh/metalcore with a tough guy touch sounds real. Lyric wise the bands from Finland will never belong to the top, but at least these guys seem to have a clue what they are talking about. No weird translations here. I guess kids who dig bands like Drift, Throwdown and even Backfire! will love this band. Straight up tuff guy hardcore with a metallic touch. This is, in my opinion, one of the best tough guy releases I heard the last couple of years. That's mainly due to the fact that these guys don't over do it with a lot of "fuck you's" and overdone streetwise lyrics. They just let the music speak for itself, and that's more than enough!
