Genghis Tron - Board up the House

After the success of the Locust it couldn’t last long before more grindcore bands with keyboards started to surface. At some times Genghis Tron is raging like a madman along the highway like grasshoppers do, but luckily Genghis Tron melts the ferocity with atmospheric parts and electronica. During the first listening sessions ‘Board Up The House’ seemed one big mess but later on this cracked combination works wonderfully well. With tracks like “Recursion” or “Relief” this trio manages (like Battles has also done) to break down the wall between electronic music and modern rock definitely. Even a bass player and a drummer of flesh and blood aren’t necessary to do that.

	Puike cd, alleen wordt mijn collega er zenuwachtig van..dus op het werk draaien kan niet meer!

	Zeker een vette band, maar ik vind toch dat een bassist geen overbodige luxe zou zijn. Vooral bij 't oudere werk.

	idd op de nieuwe plaat zit trouwens wel basgitaar. het zou ze niet misstaan en een echte drummer ook niet maar ja zo is het ook al vet

	Ik vond op de vorige plaat die overgangen van de ambient stukken naar de pure grindmathchaos enorm gaaf. Ben erg benieuwd naar dit Kans dat ze nog een keer naar NL komen?

	AWESOME BAND!!! check out their previous release too, it's called "Dead mountain mouth"
