Waking The Dead - General Benefit Thrash Crossover

From the ashes of Skulls And Flames came Waking The Dead. That was the only thing I needed to read in the bio to know what to expect. And what I expected is what I got; fast thrash mostly reminding me of DRI during the Dealing With It era. In roughly 9 minutes, 12 songs are blasted out. These 12 songs are recorded as a split with the Shining which should be out this summer. Besides the hard hitting music, I enjoyed the straight forward and no bullshit lyrics. The production wasn�t too great but good enough for my taste. I can�t really tell anything about the artwork, since I don�t think it is fair to judge them by a promo cover. Anyway, after those 9 minutes I always want to give it a second spin, so that shows to me that they play good thrash that needs to be heard.

vanacht de primeur van de daadwerkelijke master met 50% shining boy's in heemstede gehad.
De cd was nog warm van de xpz studio. maar wat kan die Nico xpz toveren met de knoppen.
De productie is wel een stuk of wat treetjes naar boven getild..
en ook de shining even kunnen horen.. gotnonderjeu... wordt me dit even een waxje die door gaat walsen..
