Providence - Far Beyond Our Depth

Providence from 'filthy Paris', France adresses us in this review. These 5 guys know how to fuck shit up and with 'Far Beyond Our Depth' they have made quite an impression. For a debut MCD this is a great release if you are into mosh and beatdown. Their style reminds me a lot of the old Crawlspace mixed with a little bit of Death Before Dishonor. Maybe even a little bit of First Blood. Seven songs of brutal metalcore and mosh based on slow and up tempo, dubble base hard hitting drums with killer riffs. I must add that I am not a fan of the vocalist Ton R, however his sound suits the music well. Actually I personally prefer deeper grunts with this type of music, but I am quite satisfied that the lyrics are in English, not in French. There's still time for them to work a bit more on that. 'This is filthy Paris' is my favourite track. Bringing everything they've got. This is hardcore beatdown style, the way it was meant to be. Nothing more and nothing less.

	bij dit soort bands ben ik altijd band tussen een gigantisch verschil tussen opnames en live. binnenkort hopelijk eens checken.
