Mass Hypnosis - DISIN4MATION

I could make it easy for myself with this review by stating that Mass Hypnosis is another technical, melodic metalcore band in the vein of The Black Dahlia Murder and All Shall Perish and that’s it. And yes, they do a lot of ‘loantje neighbour’ with similar bands, but that is inevitable in this crowded genre these days.

So not quite original musically speaking, but what makes Mass Hypnosis stand above the mediocrity is their message and the way they spread that message. All CD long you get an assault on your reason to start to think for yourself. It deals with conspiracy theories, media manipulation, the effects of religion and other shortcomings of today’s world. Although these subjects aren’t new either, it is, as I said, the way they bring it. The CD is filled with speeches and arguments to doubt whatever you hear or see, mostly against religion. Which makes this CD coherent from the first to last song.
