Spider Crew - Still Crazy but not Insane

After having been out of the run for a couple of years, Austria's Spider Crew are back with a new cd. I have to say that this is my first time giving their records a chance but with more than a decade of hardcore experience I have some expectations for "Still Crazy but not Insane".
Starting out with a movie-quote, gang-vocals, singalong choruses and throwing in some "Oi! Oi!"s all during the first song, what's not to like: hardcore from the streets. Seeing that these ingredients however aren't really my recipe for a great hardcore band, the fact that this record never gets original or suprising won't have me putting it back on any time soon. A bit too much of the same in the 12 songs that are on here. If you're into bands like Agnostic Front or Blood for Blood, you'll probably be into this release as well. If not, you won't be missing out on much.

	Inderdaad, je had met mindere bands ten onder kunnen gaan (die dan wel weer meer sterren hadden gekregen, maar dat terzijde).
