The ice age has come to an end. Thank you all for your support over the years. It's been fun, but it's time for someone else to take over. Head over to SWNK for your daily dose of hardcore music. While you're there, check out the interview with the founders of Asice.net. - David

Shutdown - Few And Far Between

posted by: Duncan on 9 April 2003

Victory

I think just like me lotsa people have been waiting for this release, the follow up of Shutdown’s debut CD "Against all Odds" which sold fantastic. (over 20.000 copies) And let me tell you it was worth waiting for. This is in my opinion one of the best releases this year. Fast old school Hardcore with a very distinctive sound, and that’s probably due to the vocals and the cool guitar riffs. The songs are about Unity, being true to yourself and standing up for your morals. My favourite song is the title track "few and far between" where Freddy "Madball" spits the chorus at ya. This CD is scheduled to be released around 12/09/2000, and I hope these guys will come to Europe soon to support this fabulous release which in my opinion is already a "classic".
