The ice age has come to an end. Thank you all for your support over the years. It's been fun, but it's time for someone else to take over. Head over to SWNK for your daily dose of hardcore music. While you're there, check out the interview with the founders of Asice.net. - David

Downpour - Footsteps Over Our Head

posted by: Duncan on 8 April 2003

Alveran

This band hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, produces very fast, chaotic and metalic hardcore. It took me some time getting used to this CD but the songs appear to be very catchy and have got some very original guitarlines in them which makes this band quite special. Plus of this CD is the great 'bonustrack' (it's not on the tracklist) "My War" together with Artie Philie of Brother's Keeper, minus are the annoying synthesizer-parts between every song. I don't have a clue if I can compare this band with others, but I guess Botch and Red Sky II fans would like this one.
