About 1,5 years after Richards death Backfire! returns with this new, powerful release. They couldn’t have picked a better title after the hard times these guys must have been through; this is hardcore played from the heart (heartcore, if you will). Fast-paced old school songs with the familiar vocals and the typical sound of beautiful Backfire! power chords. With different drums of course, but if you ever saw an M-town band live, you probably know Igors smooth and tight style of playing the drums. Unfortunately, this cd is not as original as All Bets Are Off, mainly because of the lack of dynamics in the song structures. But songs like ‘Feedom’ (best Richie tribute song there is), ‘I Remember’ and ‘Still Dedicated’ make this album more than worth while.
