Damn did this surprise me. After the "Background Music" release I did not really expect much of this one but boy was I wrong. This CD has got everything that the "Background Music" releases lacks. The songs on this CD are the songs from the first two 7". (Titled "American Nightmare" and "The Sun Isn't Getting Any Brighter".) These songs are more powerful/aggressive/energetic and especially the vocals are better cause they sound more rough/raw, the way I like it with Old School. Also the production isn't as clean as on the "Background Music" CD. I especially like the songs from the first 7"! Check it out if ya liked the Full length but don't own both 7" or if you were a bit disappointed by the full length like me…. Satisfaction Guaranteed!
