Cancelled - Abstained

Own release
Cancelled may be from Amsterdam, but their ‘dynamic thrash’, as they like to call it, sounds very un-Dutch. When I listen to this MCD I hear influences from American bands like Freya, Agents Of Man, Spineshank and even System Of A Down. Unfortunately there are only three songs on this disc, so it’s hard to give a well-funded opinion about Cancelled. But what I’m hearing here sounds good and that’s what counts. This band has played shows at Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park and Fields Of Rock (in other words: a lot of Rock…), this band is just moments away from being signed by a major label. So bring ‘em on!
