This is one of the hardest reviews I had to write in a while, Daniel plays punk mixed some metal and indie influences, not really my kind of music. But this three piece did manage to convince me of their talent and I think that people who are into this kind of music will definitely like this debut CD titled “As the lanterns we carry grow dim”! It’s hard for me to compare Daniel to any other band, but I guess you could say a combination of Thrice, Grade and Further Seems Forever. 10 songs with an average production, and that’s probably one of the downsides of this CD. Anyway, I guess I’ve said enough about this CD if you’re into hardcore, and hardcore only, than just stay the hell away, but if you like any of the before mentioned band than give it a try…
