18 November 2010 · The name Freddy Cricien is not as well-known as Freddy Madball. That’s why the vocalist for these NYHC kings decided to use this moniker for his hip-hop career as well. Madball just released their new album ‘Empire’, which was special for them in many ways. Hoya’s wife passed away not too long ago and the music gave them something to focus on. After he left Born From Pain it seemed he had also turned his back to the music industry. First Carcass announced their reunion, soon followed by a final reunion from At The Gates. At The Gates’ legacy was mainly created when they stopped playing, and people had been begging for years to see this band live. Well, everyone got what they asked for: At The Gates toured the whole world, and if you didn’t see them during their reunion tour in 2008 than you’re probably never gonna see them again on stage. But now, there is once again a reason to celebrate their massively... »
