The Setup: still going strong

Every band that struggles with line-up changes has a hard time. Especially when the singer and guitar player/song writer leave the band. The Setup survived these difficulties and continues on their road towards the top. Singer Kris Deweerdt picked up the microphone and from the band Fallen they recruited guitar player Jef van de Weghe and bass player Michiel van Steen. After the mini-cd ‘Crawl & Reign’ The Setup now returns with the album ‘Torchbearer’. AsIce.net had a quick chat with singer Kris about it.

Kickback: ‘Want some violence? Go see a Kickback show!’

Kickback from Paris are the most infamous hardcore band around. You all know the stories about violence that surround this band. And you’ve all heard the music, because Kickback are a league of their own when it comes to combining hardcore and metal with a sick attitude. Their new album 'No Surrender' is a killer once again. De Heideroosjes: It's full time, but it's not a job

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the band has now released the double-album 'Ode and Tribute'. On the 'Ode' disc De Heideroosjes cover their own favorites and on the 'Tribute' disc well-known acts such as Bløf, Di-Rect, Peter Pan Speedrock and Backfire! cover Heideroosjes songs. Blag from The Dwarves talks about his novel 'Nina'

Blag Dahlia, Blag Jesus, Blag The Ripper. Mom calls him Paul. A man with many names and many talents. He has a way with words. Besides destroying stages all around the globe with the amazing Dwarves and producing and writing hits for others, he also writes books. And good books too!
