AsIce.net FAQ

Q: How did it all start?
A: At the end of 2003 AsIce.net started out as an integration of three well known Dutch hardcore e-zines (My Own Way, Back To Back and OppositeZine). All the guys in the team back then had been active with their previous zines since 1997/1998. Early 2005 the three former guys from My Own Way called it a day, but AsIce continued with some dedicated new crew-members.

Q: What's up with the name "AsIce"?
A: Well, what do you think? Ice rocks!

Q: Will AsIce.net review my band's release?
A: Yes, we will try to give our honest opinion on everything that comes in. Just send it to the contact address and we'll put it on the list.

Q: I couldn't find the review of release "X"! Where can I find it?
A: If you can't find it, we haven't received it or we haven't reviewed it yet. Don't ask us when it's going to be online!

Q: Show "X" isn't on the list, is this show cancelled?
A: No probably not. If a show isn't on the list, submit the show yourselves!

Q: I've just went all the way to "X" but the show was cancelled! Why wasn't there a "cancelled" sign on your site?
A: Because no one told us so. It's impossible to verify all the show dates, just check with the venue before you go!

Q: Can my band/label advertise on your website?
A: Sure, if you can afford it! Get in touch for ad-rates.

Q: How do I put your banner on my site?

Q: Can I use pictures from the AsIce.net gallery for my website/magazine/flyer/cd e.g.?
A: It is not allowed to use any pictures without our permission! So just get in touch with one of us first. We do have all pictures in a high resolution.

Q: AsIce.net is my all time favorite website and I want to contribute!
A: All right, now take it easy. As a registered user it is already possible to add news and shows. We appreciate any help with that. If you want to do more, just get in touch and we'll see what we can work out.

Q: How many different hc-kids visit your site daily?
A: A whole bunch of them!

Q: Why haven't you guys interviewed/reviewed "band X" yet?
A: It's our e-zine, so WE decide who or what we feature on it. Stop whining!
